Lydia Slatter, MSW Intern

I am an MSW intern passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges while fostering a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment for clients to feel heard and empowered. My approach is person-centered and strength-based, with a focus on creating a space where clients can show up authentically. I believe healing starts with connection, self- compassion, and feeling safe enough to explore your experiences.
My interests are deeply rooted in mental health advocacy, identity development, harm reduction, and emotional wellness. I’m particularly interested in working with clients experiencing anxiety, major life transitions, identity exploration, and relationships or family conflict. I value balancing emotional insight with practical, real-world coping tools that individuals can use in their everyday lives. My goal is to help individuals feel more grounded, resilient, and confident while honoring their experiences, identities, and strengths.
